We all are aware and proud of the fact that Panchmahal’s Champaner-Pavagadh is Gujarat’s first World Heritage Sitedeclared by UNESCO. Soothing natural beauty, incomparable archaeological monuments, fascinating tribal culture and tranquil spirituality, all of these get amalgamated at Panchmahal. The district proudly holds significant places of three religions; The Mahakali temple, Archaeological mosques and Digamber Jain temples. With Such uniqueness and attractive features, Panchmahal deserves more attention & recognition. Hence, it is our collective duty to put our best foot forward & strive that the district gets its well deserved recognition.

With an aim to develop tourism, boost up local economy and to bring our district's manufacturing hub, Halol Industrial belt on the World map and with the help of your financial support and co-operation we have successfully organized "Panch-Mahotsav" festival in the previous years. In Panch-Mahotsav-2017 Tent city, Heritage walks, Trekking, Photography competition, Cultural evenings, Tribal art exhibition and sale, adventures sports were organized and special arrangements for Divyangs were made.

Last year during Panchmahotsav-2017, approximately 5,33,000 people took part in the 5 days jamboree comprising ofabout 52 different activities and facilities of event. Cultural evening of this mahotsav was witnessed by about 60,000 to 70,000 people each day making this mahotsav a Mega event. About 49 Lacs people from more than 124 countries joined the event through live streaming and web casting. After India, most number of live online viewers were from USA. Among the online viewers, about 52% belonged to 18-34 age groups, which proves the popularity of the event among youth. 


This year also we are going to organize“ PanchMahostav -2018” at Champaner-Pavagadh during 22nd to 26thDecember 2018
